UKSA Code of Conduct

For All Members of the uPVC and Kitchen Sprayers Association

As a member of the UKSA, you are part of a growing community committed to raising standards and representing our industry with pride. This Code of Conduct sets out the expectations we have for all members to ensure professionalism, trust, and support within the association and beyond.

1. Professional Standards

  • Carry out all work to a high standard of quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Use appropriate materials, tools, and methods aligned with industry best practices.
  • Keep up to date with relevant training and product knowledge.

2. Honesty & Integrity

  • Represent your services truthfully in advertising, quotes, and client communications.
  • Avoid making misleading claims or discrediting other professionals.
  • Be transparent with clients about costs, timelines, and limitations.

3. Respectful Conduct

  • Treat customers, colleagues, and fellow members with courtesy and respect.
  • Engage in constructive, supportive communication — both in person and online.
  • Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or aggressive behaviour at all times.

4. Support for the Community

  • Contribute positively to the UKSA community through sharing knowledge, offering support, and celebrating the success of others.
  • Use the UKSA WhatsApp group and online platforms responsibly and respectfully.

5. Compliance & Responsibility

  • Comply with all relevant health & safety regulations, insurance requirements, and legal obligations.
  • Respect the UKSA brand and avoid using the logo or name in misleading or unauthorised ways.
  • Understand that failure to meet these standards may result in review of your membership status.
